Headlamp Fuses Tend to Corrode - Clean the Contacts -1980-1987 XJ6 Jaguar

The fuse panel for the headlamps is located on the inside of the engine bay, mounted to the left fender. Because these fuses are located in a hostile environment full of heat and moisture, the fuse contacts tend to corrode. This leads to strange failure modes for the headlamps. For example, one will go off, just to come back on a few minutes later. If you have strange headlight behavior, check the condition of these fuse contacts, and clean them if necessary (if you havent cleaned them already, it's necessary.)
