Jaguar Universal Joints need Periodic Lubrication

Universal joints allow long shafts, like the driveshaft and the axle shafts, to bend without breaking. Universal joints contain many bearing surfaces that require periodic lubrication, and without it they will go bad. They are cheap, but the labor to install them can be considerable. Most zippylube joints won't touch them, so you may have to do it yourself. It's worth the effort! We sell the u-joints for the driveshafts and the halfshafts also. All should be replaced over time. Some have grease fittings that can be lubed easily others don't have the fittings and the u-joint will need to be replaced.
