We keep a standard website log that records the IP address of every visitor that views our main website page. No names, email addresses, or anything else is collected unless you place an order.

Every person placing an order receives an identifier cookie that is stored on their computer. This cookie allows us to pull up the last name and address that person used so he or she doesn't have to type it into the order form again. The cookie isn't used for anything else, by anyone, nor does the cookie store any credit card information.

The cookie is a small computer file that has a code that identifies you to our website the next time you place an order. The cookie file is stored on your computer in a special place that your computer has set aside for cookies and other temporary internet files. The cookie file doesn't contain any personal information about you or your computer.

Anyone subscribing to our weekly mailer, the "Jagbits Hotline" is asked to supply their email address. No other information is required. The email address is used to distribute the "Jagbits Hotline", and an occasional  customer survey. It is not used for any other purpose and the email addresses aren't provided to anyone.

II. How we use or share the information collected:

Ordering information is used to complete sales transactions, and to process refunds.

The cookie placed on your computer allows us to recall your name and address for subsequent orders (but not your credit card information.)

Email addresses collected for the "Jagbits Hotline" are used to distribute the weekly email, and an occasional customer survey.

Under no circumstances is any information we collect EVER shared or sold to other parties. We consider your privay of paramount importance.

III. How we protect your information online:

Ordering information is protected using the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol that encrypts personal information being transferred over the Internet. Access to this information is password-protected. Only one person - the owner of the Jagbits.Com - ever has access to credit card information.
