Courtesy of list member Wade Ramsey:The XJS has a plastic rain shield over the wiper motor. When this devil disintigrates, the motor is totally exposed to the elements and
is very prone to burning out. The shield is relatively easy
to replace, and the wiper motor is VERY expensive!
