V12 air bleed screw on on XJ6 Jaguars
Jaguar Parts Technical Information
On the top of the radiator on V12 Jaguars, there is an air bleed tube assembly
that allows air to escape from the cooling system. There is a hollow screw
that allows air to pass into this system, and this screw is located in
the top of the radiator. Over time it gets gunked up, and prevents
the air from leaving the system. This can contribute to overheating.
