Replacing the XJ40 Rear Wheel Bearings

Front and rear wheel bearings must be replaced before they fail. On 1969-1997 XJ6 models, you will start to hear a strange grinding noise when the bearing has already failed. You need to replace the bearings before you hear this noise or at least as soon as you hear it. If not, you will not only need to replace the bearings, you will also need to replace the Hub and Hub Carrier. We sell the entire rear axle assembly which makes installation much easier and quicker.

See the Jaguar XJ40 page for more information on that model.
