17. Hydraulic System Mineral Oil (HSMO)
Jaguar Parts Technical Information part 3
The 1988 and later XJ6 uses Hydraulic System Mineral Oil (HSMO). It's the green stuff in your hydraulic system. Only use Castrol (or Jaguar) HSMO. Never use industrial HSMO - it's too viscous, and never use pharmaceutical mineral oil - it's just plain wrong.
