How to Lubricate the Door handles on 1988-1994 XJ6 Jaguar

The 1988-1994 XJ6 has a serious problem with door handles that break with little notice. There is an improved handle available for those two years. For the 1990-1994 cars, the handles still will break but not as often or as easily as for the 88-89 cars. The common factor in most of these handle breakage incidents is lack of lubrication, so get in there and spray a high- quality lubricant all over the working parts of the door handle. You will need to remove the inside door panel to do this. Select a lubricant rated at extremely low and extremely high temperatures, so you don't run into mid-summer and mid-winter stickiness problems. Once the door handle pull flap breaks, you will need to replace the entire outside door handle which we sell on the website.
