Making sure you have a properly functioning jack

Many of the Jaguars we drive from day to day are twenty years old or older. Also, many of us live in the rust-prone coastal and northern areas. These two things combined can spell doom for the jack sitting in the trunk of our cars. Periodic testing, cleaning and lubricating will go a LONG way to making sure you aren't stranded somewhere cold and dark, with a flat tire and a jack that's rusted shut. This happened to me in a five year old car!
