4. Brake Master Cylinder Rebuild and Installation
Jaguar Parts Technical Information part 2
Any time you rebuild or replace the brake master cylinder, you must
bleed the air from the cylinder before you install it in the car.
If you don't, you'll have, at best, squishy brakes, and at worst,
total brake failure. The procedure for bleeding the master cylinder
come with the rebuild kits, and is also found in the workshop manuals.
