33. Door Handles, 1988-1989 XJ6

The outside door handles on these cars are notorious for breaking. Lubricate them regularly to prolong their life. If one of yours is already broken, be careful when you shop for a new one. Jaguar produces an upgraded replacement handle that is reinforced to combat the breakage problem. We sell them on the website under part numbers BEC20244 BEC20245 for the front handles and BEC20248 and BEC20249 for the rears. Unfortunately, there are still a bunch of the older style handles out there floating around at very attractive prices. These older handles have the same breakage problem as the original handles. Don't waste your money on them.
