27. Antifreeze is necesssary even in warm climates

Antifreeze is necessary for your car, even when you live in an area that never gets below freezing. Water will corrode the cooling passages in your engine. Over a period of years, water willeventually cause so much damage that the engine may have to be replaced. Antifreeze has corrosion inhibitors that prevent this damage. Jaguar recommends a no- phosphate antifreeze, such as Prestone Long Life.
