4. A/C Control Panel on the 1988-1994 XJ6

This week's tech bit is on the A/C control panel on the 1988-1994 XJ6. When these go dead, many times they can be repaired cheaply. Take the A/C panel out, using the instructions in the

JHM1126  manual, and replace the microswitch with JLM11240, in some cases the switch replacement does not work and you will need to replace the DBC5844/R remanufactured control panel. Taking the A/C panel out involves removing the wood from the console, so don't try to do it without a written guide, it's easy to mess it up.
