Wet Feet from AC Drain Tube Blockage in Jaguars

Jaguar Parts Technical Information

Does this sound familiar? After driving for a while the driver or passenger gets water sloshed onto their feet during a turn.

This is classic drain tube blockage. The A/C system accumulates condensation from the air, and it needs to be drained out of the car. There are two rubber drain tubes that lead from the underdash area down through the transmission tunnel, exiting just over the exhaust pipe. From underneath a suitably-supported car, run a flexible line like weed-wacker string up through the rubber hoses. This will push away the crud blocking the hoses, allowing the water to drain freely. Don't put your face right under the tubes when you do this!
